I like the design of the book. There were moments when I forget a particular command to perform a specific task and this book will help me understand it could help. If it was organized by the command name in alphabetical order, I do not buy it, since I prefer the "man" when I remember how to spell the command. On the other hand, if you could include a parameter list loadable NIC or SCSI, it would be more useful. In short, I think this book is pretty good reference.Rating: 4 / 5

If you keep a book next to your Linux machine, it was * her.
This is not a book of tutorials and is most useful for those with at least an initial knowledge of Linux. 'Instant Reference, "means exactly that, and in this sense, this book offers a great time!
The book is written in an archaic alphabetical order, but a much more useful and logical grouping related commands - very functional. The "view in a section 'at the beginning of each chapter tells you exactly how to perform common tasks. After that, after some tips and explanations of the area chapter of Linux, launches into a simple explanation of each command under English the item and * * all extensions that do as well as associated files system that question.
If ever you sit in your Linux terminal and I wonder how I can do 'x' (covering Most users of Linux, most days), then this book is a must have because I simply reach over and open, he says. I had some pretty good books on Linux, but if you take one part, the decision was easy .Rating: 5 / 5

There are several books available of this type, but I think this is the best. It is easy to read documents commands and changes enough, and numerous examples for each command that demonstrate the use of control switches.
This book will teach you Linux, but once you have Linux installed and running, this book will be of great value.Rating: 5 / 5

I bought several books on Linux in an effort to learn to use Linux commands MedlinePlus. Well, after months of use, I recommend this trust MedlinePlus top of each other. MedlinePlus covers almost everything you need to know to use Linux commands. MedlinePlus The provision is good and the book provides many examples. MedlinePlus also describes the commands and utilities MedlinePlus books overlooked by competitors. For example, see page command to use. Utility ZIP, safedelete and others are covered too. This is the reference book I find most useful commands. MedlinePlus Highly recommended! If you choose a command only reference book, this is to buy for the novice and experienced user alike.Rating: 5 / 5

This small but has saved my sanity many times. Has common examples easy to understand and provide answers on how to use different commands. It's like a linux s Tricks. Anyone can use the graphical interface of Linux, but only a master knows the command line.Rating: 5 / 5

Download Ubuntu from the web. Fits on a CD. From here you can download other software with a simple interface for Ubuntu. I am not new to Linux. I've been using for years. It is time for me to try a new distribution. I think it was a command line server version of Ubuntu. When I finished the installation and never got a graphical interface. I was not even sure if I have a 32-bit (probably was) or 64 bits. I started on the last download from the Web (64 bits).Rating: 1 / 5
large set "of Ubuntu and Kubuntu and the Library is first class. I installed ubuntu, and then decided to try kubuntu and I found this series. I use ubuntu for second year and is by far my most beloved Linux distro. Now I try to kubuntu too large, but different. This particular library has a complete training for all levels of users! That's a standard installation and hours of fun! Awesome! If one day you decide to pass exams This training series offers books and includes a discount for analysis. Great deals and fast delivery COMING!Rating: 5 / 5

I received the order of DVDs by mail within 2 or 3 days. Everything was exactly as described in the catalog. I installed the new version on an old hard drive as evidence. Everything went as planned and then I installed on my team. The operating system is installed in about 20 minutes. Tons of programs can be downloaded as needed. I was very impressed with gambas2, a Visual Basic as programming. It was worth the price of having a DVD and all the documentation rather than having to download the CD in about 1 hour if necessary. I was pleased and would recommend to anyone thinking of trying Linux operating systems.Rating: 5 / 5
