		<description>I&#039;ve always wondered why  was used instead of /, so kudos on linking the article.

I never realized that it had to do with the switch character being / instead of -, but that makes sense when you consider most command switches are still start with /; even though I&#039;ve seen a lot of other switches like + pop up﻿ on windows.</description>
